Underworld: Blood Wars

Blood Wars was released in 2016 and it’s an action horror film directed by Anna Foerster. It is the 5th installment in the Underworld franchise ( Underworld (2003), Underworld: Evolution (2006), Underworld: Rise of the lycans (2009), Underworld 4: New Dawn (2012) ) and it is written by Kyle Ward and Cory Goodman.  



Selene (Kate Beckinsale) returns stronger… faster… deadlier than ever. Our favourite death dealer may had just been united with her daughter and thought that she is done with the war, but the war is clearly not done with her. This time she has more than one reasons to fight, her love and their daughter. A new enemy has rise, Marius (Tobias Menzies) leader of the Lycans,  searches for Selene's daughter, Eevee. As a hybrid Eevee’s blood will make the Lycans stronger, so they need to find her in order to defeat the vampire clans, but her location is unknown. Will Selene save her daughter, find Michael and protect the covens?


Our opinion about the movie…
In our surprise it has only been rated with 5.9 in IMDb according to 30.424 ratings. By taking a look at those posts we observed that the most negative comments had to do with Michael and his role in the movie (however, we can not say more as it will be a major spoiler). We on the other hand enjoyed the movie. It had drama, passion, betrayal and suspense. However it is true, that we hoped as well that the movie should have ended differently but we (secretly) hope that it is not the last underworld and that there will be major plot twists in the next one (if it’s gonna be one). Nevertheless, from our point of view, the movie is… to die for..!!

Neighbors

Today we are going to talk about the comedy film "Neighbors", which was released on May 9 2014 first time in the US.It was directed by Nicholas Stoller and written by Andrew Cohen and Brendan O'Brien. The film is all about a couple, Mac Radner, Kelly Radner and their beautiful daughter Stella (played by Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne and  Elise Vargas) who moved to from the city to have a nice and peaceful life until one day, they discover that new neighbors come in. It turns out is a fraternity with frat head Teddy (played by Zac Efron) who is planning to change everything up by partying and consuming illegal drugs something that probably annoy anyone. Same thing happen to Mac and Kelly who will try to do everything that can to kick them out of the neighborhood and get their peace back.
